First the patient's s A-Delta nerve fibers in the skin are stimulated,
sending the message of comforting warmth to the brain which distracts
the brain's attention from the pain.. It also causes vasodilation which
increases local blood flow which, in turn elevates the skin temperature

effect from the Cooling cream. This increase in blood flow helps to heal
